It’s 1950, and new colors are being added to the Red Scare. Two U.S. State Department employees, Bob and Norma, have been tasked with identifying “sexual deviants” within their ranks. See clothing, tournament brackets, news articles, trophies, and other items showcasing high school basketball. Stop by the State Archives to look at past editions of “The Hoopster,” state tournament programs, and other treasures. View a display of basketball photographs from throughout the years. Enjoy daily self-led activities for children and adults. Watch two Prairie Public Television documentaries, “One Shining Moment” and “Basketball, Water, and the Lost City of Elbowoods,” running continuously March 12-15 in the Great Plains Theater.
